私は寮のコミュニティーに精一杯貢献する。自分の持っている日本の文化や、今まで学んできた途上国の問題などについて寮の仲間にシェアしていきたいし、逆に寮の仲間が持っているオーストラリアやその他様々な国・地域の文化について積極的に理解したい。私が以前インドのNGOでボランティア活動をしたときも、そこに住む子供たちに日本の音楽を紹介して一緒に歌ったし、逆にインドの音楽を教えてもらって一緒に歌ったりして楽しんだ。また寮で開催されるイベントにも積極的に参加して、寮の仲間と親交を深めたい。

I will contribute to the dorm community to the very best of my ability. I want to share with my dormmates my own Japanese culture as well as the problems that I have studied up to now in developing countries, and vice versa I want to understand the cultures of Australia and other countries/areas that my dormmates will bear with them. Previously when I was a volunteer for an NGO in India, I introduced the children living there to Japanese music and we sang it together, and likewise they taught me Indian music and we sang it together. I will also participate actively in the events held at the dorm, and look forward to developing deep friendships with my dormmates.
