京都文化交流コンベンションビューローでは、京都市内24ホテルの協力を得て、月別・国籍別宿泊外国人の状況を調査することを発表した。

平成26年4月度および5月度の調査結果では、外国人宿泊比率が4月は約4割、5月は約 3割に達したほか、日本人の利用割合が前年比を若干割り込んだ（宿泊部屋数：4 月前年対比 93.03%、5 月前年対比 94.61% ）。

また、欧米・オセアニアからの外国人宿泊割合が高く、スペイン、イスラエルが 4 月・5 月とも前年比 200％以上の急増をみせている。

Kyoto Cultural Exchange Convention Bureau announced to survey the number of foreigners who stay there by month and country by cooperation of 24 hotels in Kyoto city.

According to result of the survey that was held in April and May in 2014, the ratio of foreigners who stayed was about 40 percent in April and it reached about 30 percent in May whereas the ratio of Japanese people who stayed decreased a little in comparison with last year(Number of the room where they stayed: in April 93.03 percent in comparison last year and in May 94.61 percent in comparison with last year).

The highest ratio of foreigners is from Europe, USA and Oceania.
In April and May those from Spain and Israel increased by 200 percent in comparison with last year.
