While an order is pending, a Seller will not consider this quantity available for sale.However, since it not a cleared order, the order is not yet in ChannelAdvisor and the quantity has not yet been updated. To accommodate this situation and to help the Seller avoid an oversell scenario, the ChannelAdvisor Pending Order Reservation Feature will evaluate pending orders held on Amazon, reserve that quantity and send quantity updates to Amazon less this reserved quantity.
One the order has cleared on Amazon, the order will appear in ChannelAdvisor and the quantities will be updated per the regular workflow.
