日本PCO協会は6月5日、ホテル日航東京で2014年度年次総会を開催した。
同協会は会員数が昨年３月末の80社・団体から101団体へと会員数を大幅に伸ばしており、年次総会も過去最大の約110人が参加して実施された。

総会の冒頭で、代表幹事を務める日本コンベンションサービス代表取締役社長の近浪弘武氏が、日本PCO協会と日本コンベンション事業協会と来年6月を目途に統合することをめざし、協議と準備を開始することを発表した。

On June 5, Japan PCO Association held its 2014 Annual Meeting at Hotel Nikko Tokyo.
The number of its member groups have increased significantly from 80 at the end of March last year to 101. In addition, about 110 people participate in the Annual Meeting, which was the largest number in the past.

At the beginning of the General Meeting, Chikanami Hirotake, CEO of Japan Convention Service, which is a representative secretary, announced that it is going to be integrated with Japan PCO Association and Japan Convention Business Association in June Next year, and that they will start consultation and preparation for it.
