さて、OCR技術についてご理解いただけた所で、今回発見した技術についてご紹介したいと思います。
この技術を展示していたのは、大手電機メーカー。

OCRと自動翻訳を利用して、タブレットやスマートフォンをかざすだけで、現地の文字を翻訳してくれるというデモアプリです。

ストレスを感じない翻訳
筆者がなぜこのアプリに注目したかといえば、実際にデモ機で体験させてもらった際に、自分で文字を読んでいる感覚を覚えたからでした。
