「北海道」の名付け親、松浦武四郎が作り上げた26分割の北海道地図も見応えあり。
煉瓦づくり
火災のために屋根と内部が焼失したが煉瓦の壁はしっかりと残り、その後創建当時の形に復元された。白っぽく見える石は市内で採掘された石山硬石。
テレビ父さん神社
2002年に誕生し、大人気のゆるキャラ「テレビ父さん」。スーベニアショップには、ぬいぐるみやマグカップをはじめとするテレビ父さん一家のグッズがずらり。

Hikkaido History Gallery
Maps of Hokkaido in 26 pieces are must-see. Drawn by Takeshiro Matsumura, who gave Hokkaido its name.
Brick-Made
The roof and interiors were gone due to fire accident. However, the structure was reconstructed to the original look with brick walls remained. Whitish stones are Ishiyama hard stones mined in the city.
