日付が変わらないとのことですが、ホーム都市を変更していただけないでしょうか。
時計の右側についている「つまみ(リューズ)」を右側に回し、ロックを解除します。
そのあと、つまみを引っ張り出します。
この状態でつまみを回すと秒針が動きますので、
秒針を「NYC」にあわせてください。
この後につまみを戻せば設定が完了します。
英文の説明書ではE-37をご覧ください。
恐らくこれで時計の日付設定は正常になると思いますが
ダメな場合は、ご連絡いただければ幸いです。

Pass 'knob(Lew's)' which the right side od the clock has to the right side, and release the rock.
Then Pull a knob.
Since the second hand starts to work when you turn a knob in this state, please let the second hand match 'NYC'.
After push a knob back, the setting is going to be done.
Please look at E-37 with the English manual.
Probably I think the date of the clock will work properly.
