日付が変わらないとのことですが、ホーム都市を変更していただけないでしょうか。
時計の右側についている「つまみ(リューズ)」を右側に回し、ロックを解除します。
そのあと、つまみを引っ張り出します。
この状態でつまみを回すと秒針が動きますので、
秒針を「NYC」にあわせてください。
この後につまみを戻せば設定が完了します。
英文の説明書ではE-37をご覧ください。
恐らくこれで時計の日付設定は正常になると思いますが
ダメな場合は、ご連絡いただければ幸いです。

You told me that you could not adjust the dating, but would you please try to change the hometown setting?
For change the hometown setting, please turn “the winding knob”, which is located at the right side of case, to the right to release the lock
And then, pull out the knob.
In this condition, turning the knob can move the second hand, so please adjust it to point “NYC”.
Please push in and turn to the left to lock the knob. Your adjustment is completed.
Please refer to page “E-37” in English user manual.
I think your problem will be resolved by this adjustment, but if you cannot solve it, I am more happy if you contact me again.
