B社は顧客問い合わせフォームを利用して、当社に対して同商品にB社と同様の説明書を同梱せず販売を継続するなら、"Report a violation"を行うと脅してきたからです。

ちなみに、B社はメーカーでも知的財産権を所有しているわけでもありません。
