その後、スタートアップ企業であるEstimoteが、YoutubeにiBeaconを活用した同社の事例を公表。O2O人気にあやかり、
iBeaconも一気に注目されるようになりました。
その時は発表スライドに「iBeacons」という名称だけが記載され、それ以上、それ以降に詳細は語られていませんでした。
