４月27日、国立京都国際会館会議場ルームＡで、同施設をテーマにドイツ人監督が撮影したドキュメンタリー映画「Beyond Metabolism」のジャパン・プレミア上映会が開催される。

同作品は昨年冬に来日したフォルカー・ザッテル氏とシュテファニー・ガウス氏のプロジェクトをもとに映像化したもの。1966年に開館し、1997年に京都議定書の採択の場となった国立京都国際会館の現代の意義を、映像を通して再検証・再検討したドキュメンタリー。今年２月にベルリン国際映画祭で初上映された。

April 27, Japan premiere meeting for a documentary film that German director has taken the theme of the facility of
"Beyond Metabolism" will be held in Kyoto International Conference Center Conference Center Room A.
This work is visualized based on the project of Stephanie Gauss Mr. Volker Zatteru, who came to Japan last winter.
This documentary was re-verification and re-examine the significance of modern Kyoto International Conference Center,
opened in 1966 and became a place of adoption of the Kyoto Protocol in 1997.
It was first screened at the Berlin International Film Festival in February this year.
