香港送客２ケタ増へ協力呼びかけ
香港政府観光局は3月31日、 シャングリ・ラ・ホテル 東京で「香港政府観光局感謝の夕べ」を開き、旅行会社・観光関連メディアから約180人が出席した。
開会に際して、オーストラリア観光局から昨年10月に香港政府観光局日本局長に就任した堀和和典氏が挨拶。
昨年は香港への渡航者数が106万人と前年減ったものの、今年の２ケタ成長を見込むこと、また日本への旅客数が75万人とバランスが良く、安定的な航空座席供給量と安心して渡航できる２国間関係などをアピールした。

Horiwa Kazunori made a speech. He was appointed to the Japanese director of Hong Kong Tourism Board last October from Australia Tourism Board.
He mentioned that the amount of visitors to Hong Kong last year was 1.06 million, which was less than the previous year, but it would increase by over 10% this year. He also mentioned that the amount of visitors from Hong Kong to Japan is 770,000, which is well balanced, appealing that they can provide a stable number of aviation seat, and we have a good relation with Hong Kong because both countries are safe to travel.
