The camera was recieved in the mail today. I inserted a blank tape and surprisingly, the camera would not read it and would tell me to eject the tape. I have tried this with multiple tapes and batteries without any luck.
It appears that the camera is damaged and I would like a refund if we cannot reach a resolution because this is the second VX I have bought from Japan that has failed me as soon as it arrived in the post.

I hope we can reach a resolution, thank you.

今日カメラを郵便で受け取りました。
空のテープを入れると、驚いたことに、カメラはテープを読み込まず、出してしまいました。
私は試してみましたが、テープにもバッテリーにも欠陥はありませんでしたので、カメラに原因があります。
解決できないなら、返金をして頂きたいです。これは日本で買ったVXの二代目、なのにポストに到着するなり私を落胆させたからです。

私達が解決に到達することを望みます。
