Akizuki (Asakura City, Fukuoka Prefecture)


Akizuki, known to be a little Kyogto in Chikuzen, is located in a basin surrounded by the mountains: it was the town flourished as a castle down under the rules of Akizuki clan. Many people throughout the country visit there to enjoy feeling of nice atmosphere which reminds of an ancient time.


Obi (Nichinan City, Miyazaki Prefecture)


The townscape of obi is designated as “important preservation district of historic buildings” as early as Showa 52 (1977); those buildings are really well preserved which makes visitors feel as if they had been transported through time to old age.
