When you come to Nara, you should see once! The Yakushi 3 Buddha Statues in Yakushiji, highly reputed as the masterpiece of Statue of Buddha.
Yakushiji is a temple which was built in 680 by Emperor Temmu, for the sake of the recovery of the Empress. The main statue Yakushi Noyai, the supporting statue Nikko Bosatsu and Gekko Bosatsu are the national treasures respectively. We will introduce the fascination of the temple worth visiting when you come to Nara.

Yakushiji stands at Nishinokyo, Nara city.
You can see great Buddha statues and artistic works in the Tenpyo, Nara, Heian, and Kamakura era. The temple is designated as the World Heritage site.
