⑦for deeper scratches and chips use wet & dry (silicon carbide) sheets supplied 400 grit followed by 600 grit.

⑥研磨剤を使用しているうちに少しずつどの傷にはどの研磨剤を使えば良いか慣れてきますが、基本的な研磨は、粗研磨剤をセーム革に浸し、傷から約1センチ離れた範囲(傷が深ければもっと範囲を広げる)を含めて、実質的に傷が薄く見えるようになるまで研磨します。その後、中研磨剤を使い傷から約1.5センチ離れた範囲を含めて、傷が実質的になくなるまで研磨します。その後に、細研磨剤で傷から2センチの範囲を含めて研磨し、最後に仕上げ研磨剤で磨き上げます。
