MPIジャパンチャプターは1月10日、東京の六本木アカデミーヒルズで「新春賀詞交換会」を開催。会員やMICE関連のキーパーソン157人が参加し、ネットワーキングや情報交換を行なった。

開会の挨拶で会長の山本牧子氏は「今回は札幌から福岡・沖縄、また韓国からの参加もあり、過去最大の規模となった。全世界のMPI会員2万人のうち7割が女性、MPIジャパンチャプターでは女性が28％まで増加したが、さらに増やし女性の力を活かせるミーティング産業の環境整備に寄与したい」と抱負を語った。

The MPI Japan chapter held the "New Year message exchange meeting" at the Tokyo Roponggi Academy hills last January 10. There were 157 people who are members and MICE related key person who participated and there was networking and exchange of information.

The chairman, Makiko Yamamoto shared the aspiration "There are participations coming from Sapporo to Fukuoka, Okinawa and even from Korea this time which made this the largest scale ever. 70% of the 20,000 MPI members around the world are women and this has increased up to 28% in the Japan MPI chapter, but I would like to contribute to the environmental improvement of the meeting industry by further increasing the power of women" for the opening remarks.
