観光庁は12月9日、帝国ホテルで第１回MICE誘致促進委員会およびMICEアンバサダー委嘱式を開催した。

MICEアンバサダーは、日本のMICE誘致競争力強化を目的に、日本の産業界や学術分野において国内外に対して発信力やネットワークを有する8人に委嘱し、日本の顔として広報活動や誘致活動する。

8人には委嘱状とアンバサダーのロゴの入った名刺が贈呈された。ロゴデザインは、日本の伝統工芸である千代紙の彩りで日本の豊かな四季を表し、折り紙の緻密な手作業は日本の技術力を象徴している。

Tourism Agency, on December 9, held a 1st MICE attract & Promotion Board and a MICE Ambassador commissioned formula at Imperial Hotel.

MICE ambassadors, for the purpose of enhancing MICE competitiveness for attracting of Japan in academia and industry of Japan, are commisioned in 8 persons having a network and transmission power to domestic and foreign, and will promote attracting activities and public relations as the face of Japan .

For the eight persons, power of attorney and business card that contains the logo of the Ambassador were presented. Logo design represents a rich four seasons of Japan in the color of Chiyogami as a traditional craft of Japan and the dense manual origami is a symbol of the technological capabilities of Japan.
