Hello. I asked you earlier to log the missing package (worth $130) back to my account, however, I do not see it back yet. I expected that the package would be shipped last week together with my last order. Please advise the current status of the package.

Hello. I asked you earlier to refund the missing package (worth $130) back to my account, however, I do not see it refunded yet. I expected that the package would be shipped last week together with my last order. Please advise the current status of the package.

Thanks. But, sorry, it's not a story of refund. It's confusing again, though. The package went astray in the warehouse of the receiver of this mail. The package has been found, and the receiver previously asked the writer if he wanted to "log the package back to his account", (this is exactly what the receiver previously wrote). Then, this writer answered ,"yes." Still, the package has not been logged back(=registered again in an active field of the order processing system) yet. Actually, a refund has been completed once.
As you may notice, the source text doesn't say anything about 返金。
This may be something difficult for those who don't know the previous exchanges.

Actually, "log back" was something I heard for the first time, thanks to their first mail. Are these words common to everyone?
I thought "logging back" may be common to every English speaker, but this content seems not suitable for a review, anyway.

Your comment was cut off on this screen, but I read it in my mail box.
The exchanged mails can be found somewhere in the finished translations.
You may not have read my previous comment before you sent your last comment.
What they are talking about is how to bring back the missing package into the normal order processing system. This is because the package has been processed as lost package, and removed from the active transactions as DONE. Thus it's not a matter of any money. Actually, package lost, a refund made, the package found, and NOW. Once they log back the package, it will be processed as a normal order, that is, it will be shipped and the writer/buyer will be charged for his purchase again. That's why he expected to receive the items in the package by now.

Again, I feel that the whole thing has been made more complicated than it needs to be.

If the word "log" works for both parties, I will suggest to use it by all means.

FYI, we use a whole range of words and phrases such as "key in", "queue", "revert" etc. in Singapore for such cases. The crux of the matter is to get the message across.

Again, as you have explained that the two parties here have used "log", I will say it should be translated to "log" like what you have done.
