Within the event itself, growth of another kind was taking place: that of communication between delegates, boosted by the use of a Smartphone app that had the facility for all registered delegates to send messages to each other. The app also held key information, such as on attending delegates, event programmes and floor plans, and signalled a further technological step forward for the 2013 outing of the event.

All in all there was a real sense of enthusiasm at this year’s IT&CMA, the energy of which was perfectly captured at the hosted dinner evening at Bangkok’s Sukosol Hotel.
