オンラインでイベントを管理しようというサービスは沢山ある。チケット販売だったらEventbriteだし、オーガナイズだとMeetup、ソーシャルに情報をあつめようというのならPlancastなんてのもある。
特にソーシャルが盛り上がってから国内でもTwitviteを使って気軽に飲み会を開催したりするのを目にすることが多くなった。mixiやfacebookでのイベント、コミュニティまで含めればもう星の数ほどだ。

Especially since social networking is getting pumped up in Japan, we’ve seen a lot of drinking parties are casually taken place by using Twitvite as well. It will be as numerous as starts if you include events and communities in mixi and facebook.
