汚れなき清らかさ、清楚さ。利休はきれいに掃き清められた茶席の庭に小枝をゆすって木の葉を散らしたという。散葉がちらっとあって清ら かさが一層浄浄感を添える。

●寂
静寂、閉寂、しずか、さび。寂滅は仏教、大乗禅の究極の目標である

・Kei (Respect)
Although Keirei (salute) links the feudal society, in nature, it is a spirit of respect and adoration to each other.

・Sei (Cleanness)
It represents purity and cleanness without any blot. It is believed that Rikyu spread foliages on a cleaned yard of a tea ceremony room shaking a twig deliberately. According to his thought, a bit of fallen leaves even strengthens atmosphere of cleanness.

・Jyaku (Calmness)
It is translated into Seijyaku (Silent calm), Heijyaku (assimilation into desolation), Shizuka (soundless), Sabi (virtue of silence). Jyakumetsu (enlightenment) is the extreme goal in Daijyouzen Buddhism.
