荷物にセキュリティテープは貼ってありました。

荷物が税関に届いた段階で6パッケージしかなく、1パッケージ足りませんでした。
そのため、税関を通過しませんでした。それを確認したのはFEDEXです。

私は地域のFEDEXに連絡して、先に6パッケージだけ私に届けるようにお願いしました。
なので、私が受け取る前から1パッケージ足りない状態でした。

そして私は紛失した荷物をFEDEXに探すように依頼しました。
FEDEXは荷物を探しましたが見つかりませんでした。

There was security tape affixed to the package.
When the packages arrived at customs there were only six packages and there was one package missing.
For that reason the package did not pass through customs. The one to confirm this was FedEx.

I contacted the local branch of FedEx and asked them to first deliver the six packages.
Therefore, even before I had received the packages, there was already one missing.

Then I requested that FedEx find the missing package.
FedEx searched for the package but they did not find it.

I had insured the package.
