Thank you for your reply.

I duly understand that this ball-point pen is 20 years old.

Even a slightest defalt can deprive the whole virtue of the collection. Being old does not justify peelings of the paint or scratches.

I bought this item because the description said it was new, thus assumed it should have no scraches or anything.

It is very regrettable that you failed to give detailed description of the item when you put it on sale.

Thank you for your reply.

I definitely understand that this ball-point pen is a 20 year old item.

Even a slightest defect removes the value of the collection. It is not an excuse that the paint comes off or there are scratches because it's old.

I bought this item because it was described as new, and assumed that there are no such thing as scratches.

It is very regrettable that you failed to give a detailed description of the item when you put it on sale.

duly is wrongly used. deprive might not be the best word...
