JNTOが10月にもジャカルタに事務所設置

日本政府観光局(JNTO)が7月23日に、インドネシア外務省より事務所設置に係る承認を得た。今後、現地での法人格取得等の諸手続きを経て、早ければ本年10月に事務所を開設する見込み。同事務所はJNTOの14か所目の海外拠点となる。

インドネシア市場は注目される東南アジア域内でも最大の人口を有し、昨年訪日客数が初めて10万人を突破するなど、成長著しい市場として注目されている。現在、インドネシアはシンガポール事務所が管轄している。

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia approved the establishment of the Japan National Tourist Organization (JNTO) in Indonesia on July 23. From hereon, various legal formalities in the ara will be done in the location, and at the earliest, the office will be opened in October. This office will be the 14th overseas base of JNTO.

The Indonesian market attracts attention because of its large population even for Southeast Asia. The number of visitors to Japan exceeded 10 million for the first time last year and it is regarded as a high growth market. Currently, the Indonesian office is handled by the Singapore office.
