Large corporations didn’t leave enough room for lean entrepreneurship, and Munich’s startup scene doen'tt have much in common with entrepreneurial hubs in Bay Area, Tokyo and Singapore, places where Conyac Team executes most of its operations.

However, we were pleased to see that some organizations and students take initiative to build an environment where individuals with ideas can get consultations, feedback and help with implementation of their new businesses. One of such organizations is also UnternehmerTUM, which is informing young and prosperous entrepreneurs and organizing networking events. We participated at the UnternehmerTUM Entrepreneurs’ Night, presenting Conyac to young business and IT specialists.

大企業は弱い新興企業が発達する余地を残していませんでしたし、ミュンヘンの起業事情は、Conyacチームが大部分の事業を展開しているサンフランシスコ・ベイエリアや東京、シンガポールとはだいぶ違っていました。

しかし、我々は、アイデアをもつ個人が、コンサルやフィードバック、新しいビジネスを実行するのに必要な援助を受けられる環境を作ろうとしている組織や学生がいるのを知り、嬉しく思いました。そうした組織の一つがUnternehmerTUMであり、若く順調な起業家達に情報を提供したり交流会を開催したりしています。我々は UnternehmerTUM主催の起業家の集いに参加してConyacを若い実業家やIT専門家に紹介しました。
