There are many ways of transportation in Tokyo as the bus, train, subway and the monorail . When my friend from high school visited in Tokyo, we could see sight of Tokyo using one days pass without spending so much money .
Moreover, there are lot of place to have a mealand also they open till late at night. I had a dinner with my friend till late time and then he took a night bus going back to his hometown.
