東京は公共交通機関が充実しており、便利に暮らすことができます。例えば、私は学生のころ、友人と食事に行くことがよくありました。 特に試験が終わった後に、(ビールを)飲みに行くのが楽しみでした。 そんな時、夜中12時頃まで、地下鉄が利用できるのは非常に助かりました。 最終電車は、同じように楽しんで帰る人でいっぱいだったことは、今でも印象に残っています。

Tokyo has the excellent transportation which enables the convenient life. During I was the student, for example, we often went out for a meal, and especially we were fond of going out for a meal (actually drinking the beer) right after the semester examination; the subway helped us very much since it run until late. I can clearly recall that the last train trip was full of passengers going home from enjoyment as same as ours.
