日本では折り紙といわれ、子供の遊び、日常の装飾から祭りやお祝い事の装飾に使用され、大衆文化として根付いています。
その中でも鶴を折る事は最もポピュラーで、“鶴は千年、亀は万年(鶴は千年生き亀は万年生きる)”という中国のことわざから病気快癒・長寿の願いをこめて作られます。

参加者それぞれの想いを折り、組み合わせて、砂の彫刻をモチーフにした衣装に命が宿る瞬間を一緒に体感しましょう。

There are traditions of making animals and plants by folder paper all over the world.
In Japan this art is called origami, and it covers things as diverse and fun for children, everyday decoration, decorations for festivals and celebrations, and it has even taken root in pop-culture.
The most popular origami creation is the crane, and many people think of the Chinese proverb "Cranes live for a thousand years, turtles live for ten thousand years" and make cranes in order to wish for health and long life.

Let's experience together the creations that all of the participants have poured their hearts into with every fold and detailed motif.
