Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy
Left ventricular apical aneurysms are seen in takotsubo
cardiomyopathy, a condition also known
as transient left ventricular apical ballooning syndrome
or stress cardiomyopathy.


Although it is uncommon, small
left ventricular aneurysms can arise even in the
presence of preserved global left ventricular systolic
function, probably secondary to intense inflammation.

たこつぼ心筋症
左心室心尖部の動脈瘤はたこつぼ心筋症のうたがいがあります。ご存じのように、一過性の左心室心尖部収縮低下症候群ないしストレス性心筋症としても知られているものです。
　
まれではありますが、左心室の小動脈瘤は、左室収縮機能の保持された状態であっても生じることがあり、おそらく激しい炎症よりも二次的なものと思われます。
