Sword Art OnlineといえばAsunaと言っても過言ではないでしょう。
私はAsunaを見るためにこのアニメを見ていました。
強く、優しく、可愛く、家庭的で一途。もう素晴らしいスーパーヒロインです。

1クール目でのKiritoと共に戦う姿も魅力的ですが、彼女の魅力が一番出ているのは2クール目でしょう。
通常のヒロインであれば、幽閉されて悲しみに暮れ、ただただ助けを求めるのみだと思うのですが、Asunaは違います。

It is no exaggeration to say that Asuna is the first thing that comes to mind when thinking of Sword Art Online. I watched this anime for Asuna. She is truly an amazing super-heroine: strong, gentle, cute, family-oriented and earnest.

She is certainly fascinating in battle with Kirito during the first season, but I think her appeal is clearest in the second season. While a normal heroine would fall into despair when imprisoned and merely await rescue, Asuna is different.
