ある日、Vanを殺そうと屋敷に侵入したTearと出会い、そこからLukeの冒険は始まります。
旅をする中で、Lukeの幼馴染のGuyやMalkuthの大佐Jadeなどの個性豊かな仲間が加わり、また物語が進むと、Lukeは自分の秘密を知ることになり、ある事件がきっかけで変わっていこうと決意し、仲間と共に世界の危機を救うために立ち向かいます。
