A typical example is the X Prize Foundation founded by Peter Diamandis. Many "giants" of the internet business are involved with the X Prize Foundation, such as Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation of Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, Amazon.com CEO Jeff Bezos, and the founder of Virgin Group, Richard Branson.
