私は大学4年の時の9月に北海道に１ヶ月部屋を借りた。それが学生の生活で最後の長期休みだったから、学生の時にしかできない事をしようと決めていた。その頃の私には北海道で長期を過ごすことしか頭になかった。私は今年の1月に札幌に通い始め、それで合計7回目だった。友達にそれを言うと「そんなに北海道が好きなのか」と驚かれる。でも私の彼女が北海道に住んでいることを考えれば多すぎる事もない。私が月に一度行くのは彼女に月に一度会いに行くためでもあるが、それが北海道でよかった。

I rented a room for a month in Hokkaido on September of the forth year of college. As it was my last long term break as a student, I was thinking of doing something I can only do when I am a student. At that time, I could only think of spending my time at Hokkaido. I started visiting Sapporo this January, and this was my 7th visit total. All my friends are startled, asking me "Why do you like Hokkaido so much?" when they find out I've been visiting this much. However, considering that my girlfriend is living in Hokkaido, it is never too much. I visit Hokkaido once a month in order to meet her, but I am so glad that it's Hokkaido.
