日本では毎週のようにコスプレイベントが開かれていて、日常の一部になっている感じがしますが、海外では年に数回しか大きなイベントは行われません。
そのため、ひとつのイベントに本当に多くの方が参加されていて、心から楽しんでいるように感じました。
またパフォーマンスやコスプレコンテストがメイン演目にもなっていて、きらびやかな衣装や気合の入った造形が多くてとても華やかです。
