bout Japanese razors, edged tool sharpening
The surface of the Japanese razors are sharpened with a rough whetstone, and the reverse side is finished with a fine textured whetstone.
It is the same technique of sharpening as used for Japanese swords but as razors are very thin, it requires a proficient skill.
Worn out Japanese razors have rust on the inside of the blade and the blade can also be bent.
The most important point for the razor is if the texture of the end of the blade is not level, it can not shave hair.
Kiyotsuna's razor sharpening worker's do not merely sharpen the blades but also whilst taking care of the razors edges rust condition, they tweak the razor to makes sure its edge is level.

The blacksmiths will not just make the blade cut better, but will examine the rust and adjust the blade to be sharpened with a perfect angle. The blade sharpening service order will be placed after the payment, therefore it will take extra 3-4 days before shipping. The cutting ability will vary by the blade quality and rust condition, so please use this service only if you have an understanding about antique items.
