使用している銀はロジウムメッキ加工されています。「ロジウムメッキ」加工を施すと、シルバー独特の変色や汚れを防止することが出来ます。また、ロジウムメッキ皮膜はとても硬いため、傷がつきにくくなるという利点もあります。（ただし、被膜は数ミクロンのとても薄い被膜です。）

On top of that, the rhodium plating is so hard that the silver surface can be protected well from damage such as a scratch. The plating, however, is very thin about a few micrometers.
