ドラクエのようなＲＰＧは、「努力したら、レベルがあがり、金も貯まり幸せになれる」という一種の「思想」が伝わる設計になっている。日本でＲＰＧがはやった理由のひとつは、昭和までの日本人が持っていた「働いて貯蓄してたら、いつかは幸せになれる」という価値観と合致したからだろう。
