最初に彼は古代文字を扱う書道家です。
このインタビューでは前半に1955年に三重県にて美術教師の父の元に生まれて、絵を描く事がとても好きだった子ども時代からCMのディレクターに至る迄が語られています。手塚治虫、赤塚不二夫、藤子不二雄の漫画が好きだった子ども時代。そして横尾忠則に影響を受けてイラストレーターを目指し美術大学へ入って、そこでアニメーションに携わり、それがきっかけになってCM製作の会社へ入ったそうです。

First is a calligrapher who handles ancient characters.
In this interview he talks about being born in the first half of 1955 at his father's--a fine arts teacher-- hometown in Mie Prefecture and goes from his childhood loving to draw to becoming a director for commercials. As a child he loved manga (comics) by Osamu Tezuka, Fujio Akatsuka, and Fujio Fujiko. And, influenced by Tadanori Yokoo, he went to an art school and did animation there. Starting with that he entered a commercial production company.
