もし今IITにいる学生が日本で生まれたら、きっとわざわざ海外に出ようとは思わないかもしれない。そんな考えを推し進めたのが、インタビューの最後にビシューが言った言葉だ。
「IITに入学することはとても難しいです。だからか、入学後”燃え尽き症候群”になってしまう人がいるのです。」

IITの学生であっても同じだ
どこかで聞いたことがある文句に、私はほっとしてしまった。世界最難関と言われるIIT。入学試験である「JEE」は倍率にして約60倍だという。

If the students at IIT had been born in Japan, they might never have thought of going to the trouble of going overseas. I came to that conclusion based on Bishu's last words in our interview.
"It is very hard to get into IIT. Perhaps because of that, there are people who suffer from 'Burn-out syndrome' after graduating."

IIT students are just the same.
Hearing these familiar words, I felt relieved. IIT is known as one of the most difficult universities to get in to. The entrance exam, "JEE," has a 60:1 ratio of applicants to acceptances.
