On the last day,he hailed a cab and told the driver to drive to the airport.During the journey ,a Honda drove past the taxi.Thereupon,the man leaned out of the window excitedly and yelled,"Honda,very fast!Made in Japan!"After a while,a Toyota sped past the taxi.Again,the Japanese man leaned out of the window and yelled,"Toyota,very fast! Made in Japan!"And then a Mitsubishi sped past the taxi.

観光でアメリカに行った日本人がいた。最終日に、タクシーを呼び、空港まで行くように運転手に言った。その途中、ホンダ車がタクシーを追い越した。すぐに男は興奮して窓から身を乗り出し、「ホンダはとても速い！日本製だ！。」と叫んだ。しばらくして、別のトヨタ車がタクシーを追い越した。再び、その日本人は窓から身を乗り出し、「トヨタはとても速い！日本製だ！」と叫んだ。すると、次は三菱車がタクシーを追い越した。
