トヨタ自動車の中国統括会社であるトヨタ汽車（中国）投資の〓長征執行副総経理は24日、メディア各社と懇談し、中国での生産能力増については「全く心配していない」と述べた。
中国では業界ベースでの自動車生産設備が過剰となっており、政府は新規の合弁計画認可などで慎重な姿勢に転じている。トヨタは中国では一汽トヨタと広汽トヨタの合弁2社で生産しており、現在の能力は合計で82万台。

Executive Deputy Manager Dong Changzheng of Toyota Motor Investment, the Toyota’s managing company for China business, on 24th had talk with media companies and told that they were “not at all worried” about increasing its production capacity in China.
Currently China has a surplus of automobile manufacturing capacity based on the industry’s trend, and the government has been taking a cautious stance in approving new joint projects. Toyota produces its products at two joint companies, Tianjin Faw Toyota and GAC Toyota, and the current total combining production capacity is 820,000 vehicles.
