18時と19時に実施された光の演出では、背景の照明も落とされ暗闇にガンダムがくっきり浮かび上がった。ブルーやレッドなど様々なカラーで照らされたガンダムは、頭部が上下左右に稼働し、空を仰ぎ見るような形で全身からミストが噴射された。

あいにくの雨の中、この演出を写真に納めようと、ガンダムの周辺には大勢の観衆が集まった。
