The ceremony took place at Ennore Port, where first South-Africa-bound Etios was loaded onto a ship. About 200 guests took part at the ceremony, including the Karnataka State Minister for Transport, Mr. Ashoka, the Karnataka State Minister of Industries, Mr. Nirani, TKM Vice Chairman Vikram Kirloskar and TKM Managing Director Hiroshi Nakagawa.

“This is a commemorable moment for all of us in Toyota as we begin a new chapter of business with the start of the exports," said TKM Managing Director Nakagawa.

Toyota expects sales to reach sales of 20,000 annually.
