二ツ小屋トンネル(廃道)
福島県福島市から山形県米沢市を結ぶ道路は、1881年に開通し明治天皇により万世大路と名付けられた。
二ツ小屋トンネル(384m)は、万世大路に2つあるトンネルの一つです。
1934年(昭和9年)に自動車が通行できるように、拡張工事が行われました。
1966年(昭和41年)には、冬季の豪雪時にも通行できるように新たな場所にトンネルを開通させ、万世大路はその役割を終えて廃道になりました。
万世大路の由来：長きにわたってこの立派な道路が人々の役に立つように

Futatsukoya Tunnel “Abandoned road”
The road which connects Fukushima city, Fukushima prefecture to Yonezawa city, Yamagata prefecture was opened in 1881 and named after “Banseioji” by the Emperor Meiji.
Futatsukoya Tunnel is one of the two tunnels which are located in Banseioji.
It was taken expansion work to motor vehicles can go through in 1934(Showa 9th).
In 1966(Showa 41th), an another tunnel was opened at new place to they can go through if it has heavy snow and Banseioji became the “Abandoned road” after finished its role.
