Levels are completed by meeting various score targets to win stars; at least one star is required to progress to the next level, otherwise a life is lost. Blitz mode, meanwhile, is exactly what veterans of Bejeweled Blitz will expect: players are given a minute in which to score as many points as possible, and are then ranked on a weekly tournament leaderboard against other friends playing the game. Blitz mode does not require lives to play, but only allows certain rewards to be earned once per week.
Gameplay is fundamentally identical to PopCap’s Bejeweled and its numerous imitators. Players swap pairs of gems on a grid in order to match three or more in horizontal or vertical lines.
星を獲得するためにレベル毎の目標スコアを達成するとレベルアップとなる。次のレベルに進むためには少なくとも１つ以上の星を獲得しなくてはならない。獲得できなければライフポイントが減るしくみだ。一方、ブリッツモードではまさにBejeweled Blitzのベテランが期待する通り、プレイヤーが一分以内にスコアがどれだけ稼げるかを他の友達と競い、週毎のトーナメントスコアボードにランクインされる。ブリッツモードにはライフポイントは必要ないが、毎週決まった報酬を獲得することができる。
ゲームプレイはPopCapのBejeweledやその他多数の模倣作品と基本的に同じである。縦または横で3つ以上マッチさせるためにグリッド上の宝石のペアを交換していく。
