三菱自動車、EV技術センターを新設…開発スピードを加速
三菱自動車は12日、同社の電動車両開発拠点となる「EV技術センター」を新設し、2012年5月より運用を始めることを発表。電動車両コンポーネント開発機能の一部を集約する。
従来、電動車両の開発は、同社の主要R&D拠点である「技術センター」内に分散する開発・試験設備等を用いて行われてきたが、今回、「EV技術センター」を新設、電池開発、モーター試作や評価、ユーザビリティ評価などの機能を持つ。

Mitsubishi Motor is Setingup New EV Technology Center Accelerating the Development Speed
On April 12, Mitsubishi Motor has announced the establishment of “EV Technology Center”, which will be a strongpoint for the company’s electric vehicle development. Operation starts in May 2012.
Originally, electric vehicle development has been conducted in development and testing facilities, which is separately located in the “Technology Center” at its major strong point for R&:D. New “EV Technology Center” will have capabilities to conduct battery development, motor trial production and evaluation, and usability evaluation.
