The election campaign process known in Japna is as followed. The candidates for legistrators or mayors go around their electoral districs in a car for about a week. In a downtown they speak to everybody on the street and incessantly sticking their hands out of their car window, waving their hand to anybody while driving. On the street they declare their "manifesto" with a microphone and keep loudly calling out their names as if their names would be left in everybody's memories. Once they find a "supporter" who waves back to the candidate they hurry to him or her together with his staff members to shake hands with the "supporter." They act like "entertainers." This kind of election campaign is famous for the enormous cost.

The steps of the ” electoral campaign” in Japan is as follows: Candidates for a mayor and/or lawmakers cruise in an election car in his/her own electoral district approximately for a week. The candidate speaks to the young, the aged, men, and women everywhere in the town from the speaker of the car, always leaning out from the window, and keeps waving his/her hand towards them. Around a corner of the street, through a microphone, he/she declares the "policy" with a continuous call of his/her own name anyhow to appeal to the memories of the voters. When you find a “suppoter” who waves his/her hand back to you even slightly, the candidate with staffs rushes to his/her in a great hurry and shakes hands.
It is an "entertainer" completely. Furthermore, it’s well known that the huge amount of money is needed for this “electoral campaign.”
