I am sorry for my late response. Concerning your proposal, it seems that an American post office staff will come to my home in the U.S. to pick it up. Actually, however, the defective item is in my office in Japan, and it will cost $220 if I send it via air mail to you.
Though I examined this and that to lessen this amount, there was no way; the shipping charge from Japan to the U.S. is absolutely constant irrespective of destinations.
