Our selling razor is sharp to cut well. This is the best since I sold many razors for a long time.
However, there is a compatibility between razor and whetstone, so, if the particle size is finer, its sharpness gets worse.
For instance, usually, for Japanese steel, we use #8000, but we get good results in #5000 for Chinese steel.
And also, it changes in sharpness by the difference in the number of whetting towards the front or back of the blade.
The most occurring problems are because of the selection of whetstone.
